If your Billing & Usage page shows "Authenticate & Pay" or your subscription status as "unpaid," here's what it means — and how to activate your plan in one step.
This is not a failed or missed payment. Your account and data are safe — your plan is simply waiting for a one-time approval from your bank.
Your plan is ready, but your bank needs to approve automatic recurring payments before we can charge your card. Until you approve it once, your subscription shows as awaiting authentication. This is a security step required by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) — not a failed payment.
The RBI e-mandate is a rule for recurring card payments in India. For any auto-debit (like a monthly subscription), your bank must take your explicit, one-time approval — called an e-mandate — before the first automatic charge. It protects you from unauthorised recurring charges.
No. Nothing has failed and your account and data are safe. Your plan is simply waiting for the one-time bank approval to become active.
The plan price and the amount charged can look different because of tax. For example, a ₹12,450/month plan is charged as ₹14,691/month — that's ₹12,450 + 18% GST. The higher figure is the final amount including GST.
Go to Account settings > Plan and billing (Billing & Usage) and click Approve with bank (also shown as "Authenticate & Pay"). You'll be taken to your bank's secure page — approve the e-mandate with the OTP/PIN as prompted.
Your plan activates immediately and your first payment is processed. All future monthly payments then happen automatically — you won't need to authenticate again for this plan.
Only once per mandate. After the first approval, renewals are automatic. You may be asked to re-authenticate only if you change your card or your bank's mandate expires.
Bank approvals can take a few minutes to reflect. Refresh the Billing & Usage page after a short while. If it still shows unpaid after ~30 minutes, contact support@mailercloud.com with your registered email.
Email support@mailercloud.com and our team will help you activate your plan.
